Another "YCH" done last night, this time for ! The request for this one was more thoughtful and melancholy, so I tried some blue moodlighting with warmer bounce and a more downturned, somber framing. Managed to come in at a proper 2 hours this time too!

I think my explanation for my framing technique is part vanishing point, part film maker approach.

When I did my Disney scene redraw, I had to figure out how Bastet’s belly would look from that angle. It took examining some reference pics and guess work to achieve that.

something i've learned from redoing my old work is that while my anatomy and overall ability has improved since, i still have the same rules for framing, posing, and scene layout i used to and i find that really interesting!
