Looking Glass by is the first time I actually see some real-world utility for an art director. Below is the original image (Moebius) and 9 iterations executed in about 5 min. I could instead train LG on an initial sketch and let it brainstorm multiple variations.

Components for everything, yes! This helps for swapping out traits i.e. eyes, etc. Also, is built for systems and rapid iteration. Color management in Figma is 1000x better, and we can alternate colors and move much faster. Here's a peek:
