I am shocked...SHOCKED!...at the zany good time that is this Metal Men series. I have long-time affection for the characters, and the book has been the exact right kind of bonkers, especially in recent issues.

This information challenges the idea that comic books have to be 22 pages. A strict page count that a comic has to be I find to be restrictive, just like a story arc of a comic having to be 6 issues. While it can work, it often comes across not being organic.

Read Fantastic Four 1234 this weekend.
Grant Morrison's DC work is obviously greater, in both senses of the word, but I think it's interesting that he's able to hit on a lot of his themes and deliver a near-evergreen FF story in just 4 issues.
