I can't wait for a season 2 so I'm thinking I should go ahead and read the manga. Question for the peeps of culture. Is Seven Seas a reputable publisher? I don't want to read something knowing the translation was censored or altered. 🤔

you mean DQ's Golems? I guess it could be considered a reference, but it's more "Dragon Quest permanently altered Japan's depiction of fantasy tropes", and so even subconsciously an artist might draw similar motifs.

Here's how the Soldier appeared in the manga, btw:

Updating ref sheet since i mostly reverted his colors back. also simplified the ref sheet.

Also altered his belly hair pattern to accommodate how i draw large round characters.

Today's shows you don't have to have a 15" waist to wear beautiful dresses. This satin gown was worn by Queen Wilhelmina in 1912 and then altered later in 1923 for the 25th anniversary of her reign. She was the Queen of Netherlands from 1890 to 1948.

can’t believe the anime altered senpais sandboob shape. Why are they so round? Where’d the torpedo tits go?

This is what happens when you let censorship win.

I altered your features a bit, but you look remarkably similar to how I freehand draw Kim Corgan from my kaiju comic Stomped. Traced photo versus trading card size marker sketches for comparison.

If you ever get in a fight with a colossal bug lizard please take pictures.

Palusylvania is littered with gates to the Elven pocket dimension They are guarded by Blood Sirens, humans altered by aforementioned elves in ancient times, paid in glittering jewels, and blood red wine. Nobody wants to visit the elves, so they get those for free, basically.

My partner said my image looked familiar -they’d seen it on anti-trans posts, altered by transphobes to remove the T, because the transphobes felt I was ‘putting the T first’ 😳#IDAHOT2021

LotL Crossover Melone (Strengite here). I altered his design a bit from the first design for this and added a cloth around his eyes because there’s no plastic/rubber in LotL. As well as his boots. Bonus Ghiaccio (Arctite).
