One day in 2019, out of nowhere the name 'Little Joy' came up in my head, with a vision of a chubbier aubergine than I used to draw, so I drew a quick one and gave her the name. And I also gave her a hype girl, inspired by a chickpea, with the simplest name, Chick P.

Doubles are a street food here in Trinidad. It's curried chickpeas (Garbonzo beans) with toppings served with two pieces of fried dough ("doubled" up on the fillings, hence the name).
The "slight" refers to the amount of pepper sauce you'd like in it.
