These underwater sculptures are located in the Caribbean Sea along the coast of Grenada. It honors Africans who were thrown/jumped overboard from slave ships during the Middle Passage of the Transatlantic slave trade/Holocaust. Never forget

The original logo for MOTHER featured a little UFO reminiscent of the famous George Adamski UFO photos taken in 1952. They were eventually included as the Li’l Saucer enemy in the game, and also as a stamp issued by the island nation of Grenada in 1978, “The Year of the UFO”.
