Hideo Azuma passed away. It's always sad to lose yet another of the classic manga artists. There's not many left. I like his stuff, he has a very charming art style. He did some collaborations with the Shotaro Ishinomori's studio, including Suki! Suki! Majo Sensei and Chobin!

A major shout out must be given to Naoyuki Konno, too. If ever someone perfectly captured the "definitive" Ishinomori style for animation, especially longer after Ishinomori's passing, it was Konno IMO. Kikaider: The Animation and Cyborg 009: TCS perfectly exemplify that.
