Will someone more shark-knowledgeable than me tell me that we actually do have a way to know that was fully grown? Cause I'm here hallucinating giant versions of it and I'm supposed to be working.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's the bizarre, planktivore manta-shark Aquilolamna from Cretaceous Mexico, announced today, my birthday! :B Super quick doodle of course. This shark's "wings" were wider than the shark was long!

My latest (and possibly greatest) 3d model of 's character Lamna, complete with a 3d mouth, tongue and facial expressions! This character was so fun to make!

i did a megalodon muscle recon a while back but found that i disliked the quality and shape of things so i remade it with a lamna-esque facial anatomy

Something akin to these is more likely
Here is a life restoration along with a few muscle studies based on multiple lamniformes using the craniums and jaws shared, used thresher/lamna as ref for one and crocodile sharks for the other
I should probably make a mako ref

So innAP art. History we were talking about the lamnation of jesus and someone said “he got laminated?” And my teacher jus goes
“Wow jesus! How’d you get so shiny and waterproof?”
“I laminated myself”

Also a proposed fixed cretalamna based on close relatives like its namesake lamna since otodontids where warm blooded similarly to them

It's Friday! Today's a 1843 Porbeagle Shark (Lamna nasus)!

This porbeagle looks awesome & the nose is quite pronounced accurate to their skeleton! The coloration is a cool addition. In real life they're often mistaken for great whites.
