"Mauve Scrawl" ⚡ Nate Boyce

A figurative and architectural sculpture choreographed with mannerist complexity and distortion. ⚡ The sound is a cross-sensory magnification of both the object’s textures and contours.

Bee beep. Regular visitors to this tweetiverse will know that I am a sucker for Mannerism. So today we celebrate Francesco Primaticcio (1504-1570) the Italian Mannerist who spent most of his career in France and whose weird pictures prove that no two Mannerists paint the same.

Thread: Doménikos Theotokópoulos, known as El Greco (1541-1614) was a Greek artist who became one of the most famous Spanish mannerist painters. His highly emotional spiritual images have a hallucinatory beauty.

Beep beep. It's the birthday of Jacopo Pontormo (1494-1557), the best of the Mannerists! What an interesting painter. His physiognomies are so unusual. His expressions so weird. His colours so inventive! He's an artist who tests the rules. I love that about him.

"Returning"
TURCSANYI, Antal
Turcsányi (1940-) is not the mannerist ARCIMBOLDO, or the surrealist MAGRITTE, where all things are at a standstill. In his art, everything is fantastic, and whirling.
