I recreated my Dracthyr (with alterations of colors) in Blender out of individual model parts from WoW, and made the Armature (Skeleton) myself. Maybe it does not look like it, but that was a lot of work.. :D and I'm proud that I got it to work without help ^.^

I made all of this on stream today! I had to render it using the Cycles engine which took like 2 hours longer than just rendering with Eevee XD

She isn't rigged just yet, gonna do a bit more mesh work before I add an armature <3

Alright, gonna attempt to rig this hecker. I will "attempt" to create a double-like armature for mocap+editing purposes. It will be referencing the Rokoko Newton rig as a base but heavily different due to extra bone controls and stuff.

vertex groups are great, fuck actually weight painting forever (still need to do the skirt)

tested and the basic armature works with VRM stuff now, and I'm not 100x larger then all other models now

I do have to redo all blendshapes cause I redid the mouth, but it's okay!!

Next will be the tentacle armatures. I'd normally do super sculpey but I think I'll go with Aves so it cures without baking.

TBH I think I find Inverse Kinetics more intuitive at the time of posing than the Rigfify armature. Requires a bit more work on the armature itself, but I like it better!

After a few days i've finally completed a sculpt i'm happy with, textured and rigged the thing. It can switch his limbs around while still retaining his armature!
