Blender's new hair got me so excited. I've just found this old model and made some test with hair curves. So stable, easy to use and powerful with geometry nodes.

Blender's geometry nodes still have a lot of limitations and a lot of missing features, so I hit a bottleneck and a lot of ideas couldn't be implemented.

Forgot to post these.
's Iggy and Hippocake's Girda.

Later, I will try to give them proper renders instead of just screenshots from blender's viewport.

It's been too long since I've actually completed a project like this, and I think it's my best looking work so far. I learned a lot about using Substance Painter and Blender's hair system.

I did your DTIYS challenge! I love the glowy effect in your original art, so I wanted to see if I could replicate it in . It's 3d except for the the sprites that I drew with blender's greasepencil feature. https://t.co/e8KfhTozPT

Among photogrammetry artists, delivers consistently mind-blowing process studies. For his GeoPortrait series, Chris uses Blender's geometry nodes to craft fantastic morphologies.

Some more progress for the night, finally starting to get the hang of Blender's rigging workflow. Just IKs and rotation controllers for now, still gotta start on weight painting though

Redid the eye texture, the one before was rushed and did within blender's texture paint. Did these in clip where I'm more comfortable using.😳🥳

Def gonna do eye textures in clip studio instead of blender for future reference !!

This week I finally got around to doing some 2D animation in by animating my friends as Scooby Doo characters

Playing around with sculpting. It's meant to be a lion's skull and I think I got the gist of it, but it definitely could be better.

Comparison between the two versions in Blender's Solid view mode.

57,777 triangles to 9,731.

In terms of VRChat avatar performance ranking it went from Medium on PC to Good on PC and Quest2 :D

Been trying to work around Blender's lack of Light Linking; learned how to do some neat vector trick to add "depth" to emission shaders and how to create a shadow catcher plane.

Annoying to work around, hopefully they add selective lighting support to Blender soon.

Sabrina is just browsing the Internet late in the night. I wonder what she's watching? I'm having a lot of fun using Blender's Compositor after making the animations in Krita! I hope you guys like it!

What I love about the movie is that all the cartoon effects could be totally made with Blender's Grease Pencil! 🥰
