Day 7 of Theme: Borealopelta. I was not at all in the mood to draw one so I killed, halved and silhouetted it. As one does.. (Istiodactyls and Deinonychus feed on its corpse).

Watch out for flash floods Borealopelta (Northern shield)! A nodosaurid ankylosaur from the Lower Cretaceous of Alberta. This dinosaur was the one washed out to sea and became the exquisite fossil housed at the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller.

Finally completed - it's Borealopelta, a nodosaur officially named this year, so well preserved that we even know this dinosaur's colours.
