Wonderful. What a great way of bringing the past into the present. I loved visiting Vindolanda many years ago and bought a cook book of recipes they'd deduced from their excavations. Their version of baked egg custard is something I make frequently.

Mastodonsaurus and Tanystropheus. Animals that we can find in Trassic layers in Poland. During excavations led by i found teeth of M. and cervical vertebra of T. 30 cm long. The angle of Tanystropheus neck is quite bold, it probably couldnt bend it too much.

Like many of the best finds from that era of the Agora Excavations, this statuette of Apollo was recorded in beautiful by the master illustrator Piet de Jong.

Without high quality color photos, this was the best way to accurately depict artifacts in color!
