The deltoid tuberosity and general flat portion of the upper humerus tell of the massive surface area for the deltoids and brachialis muscles to attach and run over. The Brachiocephalicus muscle would then run over those and add depth. And with the neck--->

The mourning dove makes equipment from scavenged carrion (axe made from a scapula + humerus). The goldfinch's dagger is named "Potato Chip", which is one of the bird's quick, short calls.

This week, I'll post daily cases. Today: Putting together a case by looking at the "corners" of the CXR. There’s a right upper lobe nodule, confirmed on CT. Pathologic fracture right distal humerus (arrow R humerus film) indicates the nodule is cancer, metastatic to bone. 5/5

Depends on your definition of... ahem...

Léon Henri-Martin found the humerus of a Neandertal partial skeleton in 1911 at La Quina. He wrote, "The fragility and powdery state of the upper right maxilla made three teeth fall into my hands."

Normally used to just move the humerus, in cetaceans, the shoulder muscles are MASSIVE and the scapula is enormous - all because they've been co-opted to move the entire, stiffened flipper skeleton. [fetal Sei whale flipper, Schulte, 1916]

It astounds me that I still receive emails like this. On average, I probably get two-three a week.

Am I the only person?

If I didn't already spend each morning sifting through emails, I would find this kind of spam "humerus".#lamebonejoke

Look at this cheeky shithead <3
God I don't get many slot opportunities with Halo, but when I do they never disappoint <3 They helped me redesign Humerus in the first place!

Watch 👀 as the humerus evolves from an aquatic fish (purple) to a land going tetrapod (orange)!

Research by brings us 'one step' closer to unraveling the tetrapod transition to land. Study shows that changes to the bone at the origin of limbs altered its function & improved the capacity for limb-based land locomotion. https://t.co/s6mMDqYOU2

i made this for a shitpost thing but i ended up liking it way more than i expected, yeah its from Kasssm's Distrust UST Video, which means that the pose idea and original sprite belongs to Oppolostic and HUMERUS II was made by BenyiC03

A general rule that I try to follow is that the torso, humerus, forearm, thigh, and calf are all around the same length.
An example (or rather 3 examples) below.

Last for tonight - attack for humerus! No twitter it seems

Some people are saying he’s jumping on his head but I’m gonna have to disagree. Mario seems to be landing between Bowser’s shoulder and elbow, fracturing his humerus.

Can you believe that the humerus (upper arm bone) of a T. rex is nearly the same size as yours? Research shows a single T. rex arm could wield up to 200 pounds of force. Sounds like a T. rex might not find all those jokes about its short arms HUMOROUS afterall.

Cleaned it up a bit and I meant humerus last time
The triceps in reptiles seem to have the origins more clustered together unlike mammals where they are spread apart
Dimetrodon would have a more reptilian than mammalian arm based on the bones and what I’ve studied of anatomy

"Looking for a way to 'bone' up"?

Oh good one, that was a real RIB tickler of a pun!

I apologize, I just thought it seemed very HUMERUS
