Day 2 of #dungeon23 and I'm figuring out how a massive, well-known dungeon stays dangerous.
The first level of the Ara Hal constantly shifts, changing the tunnel patterns and preventing it from being easily mapped out, though the cleverest will discover the hidden patterns.

I had mapped this out ahead of time, but decided that the eyes and the feathers atop the wings would be the main focal points of illuminance.
This was designed so you will feel intimidated and haunted by this creature. The color scheme and luminance ALWAYS will set your mood.
I had some colors mapped out on another layer, but could see there was no proper light source. NOW I think I know where to go from here. Got the colors (mostly), Just need to put the shadows in the right place.
Played with shape keys today on the Mantid. Needs some work in some spots though. I'm super happy with it though. It's all UV Mapped for textures, but it's a shame I can't texture for shit. 😟

The facial textures of Mario's model in Mario Kart 8/Deluxe appear to depict him with a pointy nose. The nose area is actually shading that is mapped underneath his mustache and is as such essentially unseen in-game.

#30DayMapChallenge Day 8, OSM. Jeju is a Korean island famous for its tourism. I mapped the geological characteristics of this place(JPDC SHP data), and combined OSM's mountain and volcano data(red +). Jeju is made of lava, and most of the small volcanoes are Cinder Cone.

the chonkier crystals that use full geo instead of cards are essentially planar UV'd?
they're sort of sword-shaped, with all the faces on one side being mapped flat onto one of the crystal images, and all the faces on the other side just being mirrored
