One thing to keep in mind about 14th-17th c. Venetian History. Loads of people called Barbaro and Barbarigo. Some even intersecting in timewise i.e Agostino Barbarigo Venetian commander at Lepanto (L) with Marcantonio Barbaro, bailo at Constantinople (R).
