I find it interesting that the Gorosei still refer to it as the "Gomu Gomu no Mi" and simply refer to the Hito part as "another name". Luffy seems to possess Paramecia awakening (affects environment) and Zoan awakening (recovery after defeat), so the fruit may count as both types

The only people that would bring about a change if defeated are the gorosei and Imu. Unless Akainu LITERALLY QUITS the marines, the best he'll get is get punched by luffy and then be left to maybe Sabo and Marco or something. Feels like a waste of Luffys time as he is right now
