You know it's interesting to me how much I like desert levels in platformers now. When I was a kid, I used to dislike desert levels due to "slow boring music and barren visuals" and ones I liked were just exceptions, but I grew to realize most desert levels can be very pretty.

Super Mario Land 2 - 6 Golden Coins

Despite being a fan of Mario platformers this one was a gap for me. Holds up well with its own unique look and feel compared to even contemporary games in the series. Loved this one!

Really fast-paced, satisfying platformer. Made with love and very enjoyable the whole way through. If you're a fan of platformers that lend itself to speedrunning, get it. It's great, it's cheap, and I couldn't put the thing down until I was done.

The TY the Tasmanian Tiger series. The first three games are 3D collect-a-thon platformers with the fourth game being in 2D. The games got HD remasters that are available on Steam, with the fourth game getting a remaster on the Switch coming.

I don't like platformers. I played Mario Brothers cuz it came with my NES. That was enough for me. But damn is Rayman Legends fun! And silly as all hell.

Gave this a proper playthrough and 100%ed each game, Spyro 1 was good, Spyro 3 was the worst one to me but Spyro 2 was one of the most enjoyable 3D platformers I’ve ever played, I would say this trilogy remake is definitely worth your time 8/10
