Super Mario Land 2 - 6 Golden Coins

Despite being a fan of Mario platformers this one was a gap for me. Holds up well with its own unique look and feel compared to even contemporary games in the series. Loved this one!

Really fast-paced, satisfying platformer. Made with love and very enjoyable the whole way through. If you're a fan of platformers that lend itself to speedrunning, get it. It's great, it's cheap, and I couldn't put the thing down until I was done.

I don't like platformers. I played Mario Brothers cuz it came with my NES. That was enough for me. But damn is Rayman Legends fun! And silly as all hell.

This collection is such a steal for $40. All four of the campaigns have something to talk about. Specter of Torment is still one of the sharpest 2D platformers I've ever played. I was really excited to replay this for my friends' Game Club and I'm glad it still holds up.
