Running the alpha version of Retroarch's PCSX2 core that just got released. It works quite well for an alpha!
The only issues I've run into are the fact every time the controller vibrates it goes on at max power for like three seconds longer and changing games often crashes RA

I've been experimenting with RetroArch filters, and I'd heard a lot of good things about CRT-Royale. I don't have a real CRT to compare it to, but it certainly seems to be a decent facsimile, including a hint of phosphor bloom!

The only bsnes CRT filter I've seen is one that is less of a filter and more about color space. It's called "Color Emulation" and tweaks the contrast/saturation (Off/On).

It's definitely interesting, and I'd use it more if it was available in my version of RetroArch.

RetroArch recently redid its UI from the ground up. It's 1000% better now. It's so good I'm going to be pushing it as my top recommendation for 8-bit/16-bit/32-bit gaming systems.
