the way ToH still stays interesting to me is how it pushes the boundaries of its art direction. a whole episode with lupin homer would be great

I wish a lot of shows had more variation in styles and tone but a lot of modern shows are very samey
A couple looking similar is fine
But when most shows now look to alike I think it doesn't stand out to much from each other

For something more standard between character drawings. I think my style has become more consistent and "standardized" when it comes to drawing in a more detailed manner, otherwise pretty samey, which I think is a very good thing but can be seen as a boring transition.

Sim Tower

I played DAYS worth of Sim Tower. If you've never checked it out before, I recommend it. It does eventually get kinda samey and tiring, just trying to keep this bloated ugly tower going. But god bless it, it's still fun even today to crack open for a bit.

imo the body type isnt the main concern. i dont think there should be one sonic body type, it could end up making characters all feel samey.

for me its the EYES that are important to get right. and thats where sally fails as a sonic character in a way i cant quite describe

i do like that there's a consistent school uniform bc i think uniforms can actually lead to better designs since you have to come up w creative ways to individualize them but if you can't they can feel very. samey. i wish theyd done more for her
