It's Jean-Honoré Fragonard's birthday #botd in 1732. 'The Swing' @WallaceMuseum was a commission handed to Fragonard by another artist who thought the subject was indecent. It's now his most celebrated painting and viewed as a masterpiece of the rococo style.

oh oh also, was inspired by one of my fave paintings. is fragonard's 1775/80 version of The Swing :-) https://t.co/05Gabri4B3
Some sort of flying #vehicle from "Fragonetto" clearly inspired by a well known ancient classic. Nice for beach trips and ideal for performing shark jokes while flying inverted and submerged.

It’s possible that he knew of this mixture, made from resin from the latch tree through his cousin, the similarly named Jean-Honoré Fragonard, painter of hedonistic rococo works

@framboise23O2 #art
