Collected more SHO data for NGC7000. This is still just under 7 hours integration, had to discard a further 4 hours due to technical/cloud issues. QHY268m and 115mm triplet. #Astrophotography

Look at this wonder transmitted by James Webb Space Telescope!
This is the Messier Spiral Galaxy M74 (NGC 628) 35 million light-years away, located in the constellation Pisces.

Spent a couple hours editing this image today, NGC6543 the Cat’s eye nebula!
In the MIRI image (mid-infrared wavelengths), it doesn't seem to have an inner molecular ring, at least at JWST's resolution.
Comparison image is NGC 891 in Spitzer IRAC 3.6 μm and MIPS 24μm from Hughes et al. 2014 (https://t.co/wmUgpK0aME)
@hankgreen You guys are loving these so I'll keep the comming !

Here's the second Webb Milky Way object, two images of the planetary nebula NGC 3132, also called the Eight-Burst nebula or the Southern Ring nebula, next to a top down map showing its position above the Vela Dark Clouds.
