✅ UVs tidied up to match the different wall portions and ceiling heights.

This was a bit tricky to get my head around because I had no idea how UVs worked and what kind of calculations I should be making.

I made this in 3D first and got the pattern off of the UVs.
The Uvs were made like sewing patterns rather than normal UVs or theyd come out wonky...
I think the model and UVs together took me an hour to complete with minimal edits needed to the physical paw!

Retopo and Uv's took a bit! I wasn't sure how to do the hair at first... when am I ever? it took a while to tetris the UVs! 😭

First I made sure to sketch in Clip Studio Paint a side/front view sculpting reference from October's ref sheet. Then I took those ref planes into Zbrush to sculpt the character. Using the Polypaint feature I painted her markings and then generated UVs in Zbrush to bake textures.

The helms og UVs were crunched after all the posing and reworks I did, so I redid the UV, projected the helm back on with 3dcoats photoshop projection feature, and began to repaint, a lil at a time 💖💪😤
Now repainting EVERYTHING for pose and lighting 💃💖✨

Pretty sure the topology is ...questionable to an experienced 3d artist and I'm still exploring how to optimize the mesh and UVs, but I've been learning alot thanks to YouTube tutorials!! 😳

Hi guys! I made some bi-colored hair for today to practice a different way of making hair. Honestly, it was a ton of fun painting on it because the UV wasn't a disaster (like my hair UVs usually are omg.....) 1160 verts/1712 tris - hope you enjoy!
