I decided to join @fresh_bobatae DTIYS challenge and try out painting with gradient maps with some minor color correction~
It was a great way to practice a new coloring method ✨(even though I don't think I'll use it on my work)

I'll eventually redraw everything or maybe re-model, but this is how i mostly intended for her to look c:
Miyahara's corrections are fairly heavy in this first episode, but they do loosen up in future Cockpit episodes as Masunaga refines his wild style in a way that better meshes with the character sheets. That said, there's plenty left alone that I really dig.

Made a few small corrections just for the fun of it and now I finally like this picture.
Developing for Source is a wild experience.
The problem: Blending animations for the swim has the character model aiming off-center
The correction: Make a fixer one-frame animation that corrects the aiming angle

Although Last House's episodes seriously degraded throughout the early portions of this arc, there is some marginal improvement, particularly with the likes of Ohara (pictured) producing some stylish work with some solid Uchiyama corrections on top.

What a nice stream c: Was fun talkin' about how I used ID Passes for my GGAnims for colour correction/Stylised composited lighting, as well as volumetric light to add depth to shots :)
