Jeke, small alien man!
He comes from world with universe traveling available. He is a big sucker for comics, be it in any form. (his fav genre is romance, but shh-) When he gets scared enough his body goes stiff and he won't be able to move, at all. Has a neat tongue.

One thing I really appreciated about 2 is how much of a badass retro made her look, Samus is always striking a cool pose in every cutscene in the game, which was really exciting to see after how stiff she was in 1

Well, I'm not saying every aspect of the animation is bad, (it's not stiff and akward like MK's animations, hahah)
It's down to the details though. Like the way clothing on the characters used to move. Kim is a prime example. Even his hair. This is what I model my work on.

I've been really enjoying and learning more on how to use blender.

I need to get better at smoothing out the movements of the characters cause they look stiff

Other than that there's so much i can mess around with compared to SFM

I hated cofagrigus’s design when i 1st saw the sprite bc i felt its body was going to be so stiff and weird

And BOY was i wrong when I saw it move, Its 1 of my FAVES now! It scuttles around with its ghost arms, so much personality. Adding CHARACTER is so important to animation.

I'm sorry if he looks a bit stiff but since I didn't know him or the game I just went with the original reference xDU

Some stuff I posted on my Instagram account while I was taking break from the his corona info overload. Something I realized recently is that I became more stiff with my art style. My old stuff was more loose than it is now. Need to work on that...

Thunder has accidentally got 20 for animal handling while petting the shadow mastiff, so he has turned into the proud pup owner.
The Mastiff, THE GOODEST BOY, is called Mortuary and loves soap (especially scented bars).

Day 11 of my digital art journey, this is Sam Viper, my perpetually angry half-dragon. I'll probably be looking into how to add color properly soon. I also know that my tail is a bit stiff and not fluid, but I'll work on that too. I think I'm getting anatomy down better.

peschel esteem! tanarukk (half-orc half-tiefling), arcane trickster. she's a bounty hunter with stiff morals. nobody gets the job done better, but if you hire her and you suck, her crossbow might be turned on you. she also likes to pretend to be royalty & go to fancy parties.

Someone take away my rights. As frustrating as trying to find references are, the process of how ridiculous it is, is fun. started off great. is a hot mess but I still want his stiff peace sign dancing. He needs more work
