@song_eretson Thank you for the art share ❤️. My name is Melissa, and I do portraits and character art. I like art that tells a story. I played a lot of survival horror and watched a lot of horror as a child and I think it has influenced my art subconsciously. I like dramatic lighting 😁.
@KurasiuPL @Twarda8 Thank you for hosting this #ThirstyIndieThursday!

i think i just realized what subconsciously inspired Frax's design
The idea that I am sending myself messages in my dreams every night, guiding myself to wherever I'm on my journey to, is so exciting. Often we forget that our subconscious is us and therefore we are the dream as well as the dreamer.
@froggiecafe omg no joke MONTHS ago i had this like alien girl appear to me in my dreams and i s2g she's a flilda fanchild that my subconscious created. i redrew her for u and all u need to know is that in my dream it was very difficult to shop with her also she only has 8 toes
My subconscious manifested this lesbian creature while I was falling asleep last night.
How do you think your subconscious mind affects your day-to-day life?
I've been thinking a lot lately about how my experiences affect my art. I'm recognizing more and more motifs that reflect major influences from my past, many of which I haven't thought about in years.
Happy #PanVisibilityDay 🎉✨
Ever notice how bi/pan people choose or make things subconsciously using the colours of their flag because I do that a lot
💗💛💙!!!
We see Charles arguing with his subconscious (depicted as Magneto) and recalling his relationships to Moira, Lilandra, Gabrielle Haller, his mother, etc. His secret past (back in his blond bearded days) with Amelia is brought up as well
I work from the subconscious so my art is characterised by symbols. You’ll find them scattered through my drawings.

Adora without She-Ra - and getting her powers back
(1/7)
Adora dreaming & having visions about She-Ra, the elusive figure always getting away from her - a reflection of the being & power still inside her. It came from her subconsciousness, uncontrollable even when she was awake.
I have a lot of cool ideas for weapon designs but the wall I run into almost every time is either when I start to think about their practicality or trying to go about them in a way it doesn't come off like a subconscious fetishization of violence.
