Here are the pencils and initial colors for a Bane pinup from The Animated Series.

I went with a watercolor Batman shadow in the background. And I quickly realized watercolors are not easy to use.

Final Bane pinup coming up next!

That one TLH still reminded me so much of this BatCat I did a year ago. Their suits in this are probably my favorites next to BTAS. 💞

So according to DC they "can't" sell a Batman toy if people see him doing Selina, but DC was totally ok with Bruce banging Barbara (continuing the timeline of the BTAS universe) and they still sold Killing Joke merch

what i'm missing?

I like how the Burnside suit pays tribute to the 66 Batgirl costume, the leather jacket and straps for the cape are a nice touch. I think Babs needs more purple, maybe it shouldn't be a dominant color, but it's better than gray and blue like BTAS or black and yellow like TNBA.

The Batman: The Animated Series episode "Read My Lips" premiered on this day (May 10) in 1993. A psychological mob thriller, Scarface and the Ventriloquist's debut makes for an memorable episode, and it wraps with a legitimately chilling epilogue.

Two episodes of Batman: The Animated Series debuted on this day (May 9) over the years, with "Avatar" in 1994 and "The Demon Within" in 1998. Outside of these episodes, Batman rarely dealt with the world of magic and ancient evils in his own series.

featured a great, but incomplete version of She never even got an origin story. A wildlife activist, that likes to steal diamonds, is just a small piece of what you can do with her. You gotta add more layers, in order for her to fully thrive as a character.
