This year I decided to finally design my beloved OC, Caranthir, in full. First attempts were... difficult and I was not satisfied. Mermay twist was absolutely lovely and I'm so proud! and then, final portrait, and he finally looks like in my head. Next year? dragons!

I see is a thing; here's some of my underwater art! Most is a bit outdated, from mermay 2020, but the otter is from a few months ago!

The jellyfish mermaid is , and the last one is Sybil from Downton Abbey. And I still love the cowgirl concept!

Thanks for the thread! These pieces are about 14 years apart. The old art was done in college for a Children's Book Illustration course, in which I learned that children's book illustration was not for me 😅 the new art is from this year's Mermay
