People are artistically satiated by AI's shiny impersonations and pitching tents because their word prompts are generating sublime masterpieces without spoiled artists getting in the way. Score. What they're really celebrating is theft. AI steals copyright from human artists.
@Lumaris I agree that art is in the eye of the beholder. But I still feel it's just a tool to be utilized by artists.
For example, here's what happens when I run your artwork through. While it looks similar, they are not the same drawing. Would this be considered theft? or stolen art?
@sheepycutie The cover of “realign” by red vox was an a/I image that was painted over. In the past I thought stuff like this and what you’re talking about was really cool, but a/i images now leave a sour taste in my mouth because they’re wholesale theft. I miss stuff like “trail cam columbo”
