The woman in the illustration is Empress Jingu. She descends as "Princess Sakita". The skeletal warrior in the back is "Hyakki Nyudo". He is a manifestation of Taira no Kiyomori as a vengeful spirit. The name "Princess Sakita" is taken from the above-mentioned folklore.
