It took me some time, but I went ahead and drew Cloud Strife. It was supposed to celebrate his remake design, but I ended up putting together elements of many, from the blocky PS1 model to the edgy KH variant. Is that lazy? Maybe. I should try again soon.

Tomorrow, we're starting Jade Cocoon on the PS1— a relatively lesser known jrpg with character designs by Ghibli's Kondo Katsuya (Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service)

The fruit seen in the intro and ending FMV in Tomba 1 might be a shrine/tombstone of his grandpa.
Note that when Tomba is hungry in the ending FMV he is going after a boar but not the fruit in front of him.
