I'm really focusing on developing my art style, particularly line weights and detailing body proportions and facial expressions. Currently I'm working on a more advanced and detailed method of cell-shading, but that'll take time so here's a WIP for now.

STEP 5: Detailing

The most rewarding step: Dust and stones to show how long since this thing was last used, some light to show how the orbs you fed the machine now activate it. A cascade of other things will activate around you now but I haven't gotten to animate that yet.

Made progress on the acrylic background + the gouache underpainting last night, + I’ll be back at the WonderGround Gallery in Downtown Disneyland tonight 5pm-10pm to paint the enamel line work. It’s muddled + loose until I do the fine line detailing to pull it all together.

started the roof texture and accidentially imported the hole roof into Substance instead of just the part x´D actually made it easier. Next step will be matching the side UV and the bottom detailing. gonna keep it really simple.

Slowly catching up with my illustration queue, and I'm happy with how this tuned out! I had to pull back on over-detailing since I was going for a more soft shaded look. Got to work on that a bit more in future pieces.
