It's not as performant as the old code. It runs 60-90% slower. Though, it shouldn't be an issue unless you're running thousands of them. In my experience, with that many turrets, you'll have bigger bottlenecks than the aiming/rotation code. Here's ~1200 turrets at 120fps.

Everything is in a symbol (except the center dot and the background) It's duplicated 7 times. I create the first few shapes in the symbol, choose a center origin, hit [duplicate] and type 360/7 for the rotation (let affinity do the math) and then just keep [duplicating].
