I'm hoping they aren't outright deconfirming backwards compatability for ps1-3, but all we know so far is that you can play PS4 games on the PS5. no word on if you can or can't run anything before that

The nice thing with using OpenXCom these days is that I can mod it with the Amiga/PS1 music+fonts and it feels like a beautiful merger between the DOS/Amiga games. There's even an option for "all day missions".. I really did get sick of having to throw flares everywhere. haha. 😂

..oh yeah: The PS1 and Amiga versions used a different font too. Has a funky stylised look to it. 🤓
The Amiga version didn't have night-time missions implemented.. all missions were day-time, even though you can bring along flares. 😁 And the geoscape had an untextured globe.

Just got really nostalgic for Such a fun world and great presentation for a PS1 era game! While I always loved the art design of the classic mainline games, Legends is my favorite of the franchise, both aesthetically but DEFINITELY in regards to gameplay.

Crash has been a big part of my life and I often forget just how important it is to me.
First played Crash Bash on PS1, used to play it over and over from the start with my brother trying to beat Adventure mode because we didn't have a memory card.
