Mortal Angel features sentient, talking dragons. The MC Mickey, has a small fluffy monster called Tab that lives in her hood, he's sentient but can't talk only squeaks and purrs. There is also a tribe of sentient cat people in the book. Links to the book pinned to my profile.

Burnham, Shoening, Delgado and Uyetake absolutely nailed this book. I hope this turns into a longer series or we get more 4 issue sequels that stay true to the original Joe vibe as well as this did. And the flex at the end 🤌 amazing!

"Brave New World" was a book I studied that involved a civilisation that redesigned human beings and eradicated any individuality of expression.
