I found a website that has pre-1900 watercolours with a location map that you can drill down into.
Could be useful in looking at churches.

“I did like the attention I got when I plucked those strings and sang. I got better and better and more Spirit filled over the years and that’s when my mind turned you know to moving beyond the little churches.”
Happy Birthday, SISTER ROSETTA THARPE!
MERMAID SAINT Lí Ban was caught in the net of Fergus of Miliuc; given the choice to be baptized & go to heaven within the hour, or to wait 300 years on earth, she chose to die & gain a soul. The story, recorded by Irish monks in C17th, may explain images of #mermaids in churches

By 1585, El Greco established a workshop in Toledo to fulfill his many commissions for churches in Spain.
“Saint Martin and the Beggar” (1600/1614) and “Madonna and Child with Saint Martina and Saint Agnes” (1597/1599) were made for the Chapel of Saint Joseph in Toledo.
We've had a brilliant couple of days filming at @AllSoulsBolton! Keep a look out for the finished films!

"O you deluded people, what are you doing? Why do you not hasten to the churches to hear as many Masses as you can? Why do you not imitate the Angels who, when a Holy Mass is celebrated, come down in squadrons from Paradise and take their stations about our altars in..1/2
@Barb_Drummond @pighilltweets Yes, it would be interesting to explore the motives of those who have worked on churches/cathedrals.
Were they making a political point, sharing something of religious significance or having a joke.
I love the bewigged lawyer @ChiCathedral
For #FarmYardFavourites, how could we not choose #stainedglass Nativity scenes?
