Researching an old master drawing in my collection and found it pertains to a Veronese canvas, c. 1580. It depicts Apollo and Juno. The canvas & 400 others were in the Friedrichshain flak tower Berlin, destroyed in WWII in 1945.

This Veronese masterpiece was originally commissioned for a chapel on the island of Murano - nobody knows how such a minor location could afford a Veronese work. Currently on Show at NOMA in New Orleans. Wow!
