This thread is on point! Remember getting commissioned for my artwork years ago when I drew things rather differently. Don't dismiss the value of your artwork! If you keep improving at your craft, people will take notice!
This is some of my work from a few years ago! https://t.co/1owyY6vH3Z
The further dismissal of the rest of Gerry Conway's run and the subsequent anniversary issue, which is an essential part of the larger story of his tenure on the book, again furthers the notion of just wanting to cherry pick the details that are convenient for a narrative.
@asjac13 They only had two faces to work with, not you being dismissive like this 🙄🙄🙄
It is understood that the new Irish Viceroy (Lord Lieutenant), Marquess Wellesley (pictured) offered William Saurin the role of chief justice for common pleas, heading one of Dublin's 'four courts'. When Mr Saurin turned down the role, he was dismissed from the government.
It's so easy to dismiss concepts as overused,
but isn't it a wonderful feeling when you accomplish making a sincere story?
I usually dismiss these "X-Day!" holidays but this time it's about me so of course I must bandwagon
Dragon Appreciation Day!
Some dismiss the more 'lighthearted and carefree' moments of 'Higurashi: When They Cry' as 'juvenile.' Although such people are 'humorless fucks,' they are not wholly wrong. To them, I suggest the successor series 'Umineko: When They Cry,' a rather more 'mature and serious' work.
I'm glad to see the amazing reception to this game, but its also bittersweet. I've seen this team's passion bloom in the last decade, at the same time as most people dismiss it, or put it in the back of their minds. Kirby's been here this whole time.
Cowboy Bebop’s Vicious, Rose Guns Days’ Gabriel, and Fullmetal Alchemist’s Dante are all villains I’ve seen dismissed as being bad characters, but honestly I like them all as villains, and I like the way they’re used and integrated into their story.
@joeyellis @ryanprudhouse @duolingo hey Joey, sometimes my students tell me my work looks like it belongs in DuoLingo and I don't think they're being dismissive.
Timeline cleanser & a ‘pro tip’ for all of you trying to dodge the January diet crap - report or dismiss diet ads (by clicking top right and picking an option) & they won’t be shown to you again. If you do this often enough, you’ll start to see less and less diet adverts

80. Falcon a.k.a. Sam Wilson a.k.a. Captain America. The first African-American superhero in mainstream comics. In spite of that Snap Wilson BS, silly powers, being dismissed as a sidekick and more...that's my guy. A hero with a kind heart, Paul and Darlene would be proud
Rococo is an underappreciated style of painting, dismissed for being light and frivolous—its chief virtue!
Hinata being dismissive of Komaeda isn't because he's dense or stupid, but more like, the fact that Komaeda is the one behind the incident of chapter 1 hurts Hinata enough to NOT let himself even think that he cares for Komaeda just like others. He doesn't want to get hurt again.
