Progress! Still working out the kinks of the legs, but I might run with the outer blade design, since it's what I intended from the silhouette that I made. There's a few more things I want to add but hopefully this all works out ahaha
As with our other characters, we asked @jaicreazytif to test out diff silhouettes to see which looks best.
To not look out of place in a Didi & Friends movie, we went with more round shapes and not sharp edgy ones. Kept him shorter than Torra to assert Torra's dominance.

@HeavenlyTape I like to try and include something that'll really make the character's silhouette stand out, but other times it's the outfits or characters body itself.

I like to start mine with a simple silhouette and then sketch outfits very loosely before drawing them 😊
For Aly, I had most of her outfits already designed in older pieces so it was easier!😳
For the new Azumi design, I wanted that authentic 2D cel shaded look, so I made a driver that automatically flips her fur tufts based on rotation, so the silhouette is always the same.
