A release on Steam is planned. There's been no announcement of an English release just yet but hopefully they put that 1200% funding to good use and get it localized before too long.

However, since the release of "Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth" the localization decided to fix that and now the series "Digimon Story" and "Digimon World" are properly separated, just took 10 years since the Japanese side already started being more consistent.
