Kelpie is a shape-shifting water spirit inhabiting the lochs and pools of Scotland.
It has usually been described as a black horse, but is able to adopt human form. Kelpies take their victims into the water, stoke or even devour them. 💀🐎🌿

‘The bumps’ is a birthday tradition common in Scotland. The friends and family of the birthday person take them by the arms and legs, and ‘bump’ them up in the air and down to the ground. The number of bumps given equals the age of the person plus one for luck.
