Turns out I can do both a quick black and white study and then full piece during one lunch! Didn’t quite nail the colors especially in the foreground but it was interesting to try out such a different palette.

I interpreted "Pixel art character" as one that could be drawn on a NES screen, including dimensions + palette. I was worried I was unwillingly white-washing her because I couldn't find a more suitable skin colour substitute!

It’s a great day for a classic ‘70s sci-fi film! Such spectacular costumes designed by Bill Thomas for Logan’s Run. I love the acidy green, pink, and red color palette. I can never get enough of the Grecian as futuristic aesthetic of early science fiction movies!
