Volume-building in your secondary forms is so vital to getting beautiful shadows and readable forms. And you can get away with murderrrrr on the normal map bake :))

Started work on something new today based off of @FromHappyRock illustrations. Still very rough. This is the characters current blockout. Next step, do a rough pose to check proportions then begin detailing. #WIP
Took tonight's 30 minutes to work on a new #dailysculpt blockout from scratch, taking more time to work from a reference on individual forms!
More blockout practice for #dailysculpt 11! Improving on the one before last, got some nice pointers from folks and managed to apply a few of them in my half-hour of sculpting for the day- I really wanna bump up the time I spend sculpting so I can get into a proper flow lol
Here are my (hilariously loose) pencil sketches for this guy and a 3D blockout I did to figure out the lighting and composition. Also a WIP so you can actually see his face before the costume was finished :)
I guess I timed this one well with the MW2 Remaster😄 Decided to create another @SketchUp blockout! This time I tried to make a map for Modern Warfare's 2v2 Gunfight mode, inspired by Backlot from COD4
