Happy   I recently did some fishy outreach on ‘unique fish reproduction strategies (e.g. hermaphroditism, semelparity, mouthbrooding) and I think it’s a fitting theme for this weekend. Go eat some chocolate and sketch a fish.

Small thread about Moxie! Burnel's Watchwoman.

Burnel doesn't have a traditional police force, or jail system, just the Burnel Watch Patrol of volunteers whose main efforts are outreach and town help! Moxie can change her form at will and uses this to help out.

Thinking about how has been relevant in my life for so long, I fell in love with it on the Wii U despite never using its online. I’m so sad it’s over because it’s the end of an era. But I can’t help and remember all the nice times, comfort, and outreach it brought me

This is a painting of the constellation Draco, accompanied by a disarticulated skeleton of a dinosaur. This piece by Erika McGinnis was exhibited in the Biosphere for two years in Oracle, AZ, as part of an artist outreach program.

I'm a vision scientist, but also a fine artist and science illustrator. I make nature-themed art and visuals for scientific outreach. The butterflies are my current painting-in-progress!

I think that 's Deinonychus paintings have been very important on the outreach front. For kids growing up in the 90s/early 00s, these were probably the first images of feathered dinosaurs that they had seen due to their appearance in lots of popular books and magazines.
