@artalyae Congrats on your 200 followers ❤️ Thank you for this thread 😊
I'm Nat, a Sun Cancer, Moon Cancer, Scorpio Rising (I'm the ULTIMATE arthropod 🦀)
I draw pretty guys in love and will be releasing a comic about them this year 👀
Go follow @it_s_coral ❤️
#wip on a #commission I've been working on. This exciting project is having me recreate Jacques Louis David's painting The Death of Socrates....but as #ants.

@carlosbehrens I’m Alex and I do insect/arthropod pen and ink prints! 🦋🐛🦋https://t.co/vmkRpB0Xdn
Arthropods. Come get your gay arthropods.
Alt: This is what panfandom roleplaying games do to you.
Le saviez-vous ?
Tous les Réprouvés sont capables de manger, mais aucun n'a vraiment besoin de se nourrir. Leur régime alimentaire se compose surtout de champignons, de cadavres et d'arthropodes.

Sometimes I really forget how much I love arthropods (mostly insects and arachnids) and Dinosaurs. They're crazy but awesome animals and plenty of them kinda influenced my OCs in one way or another. I'd love to draw them at some point (talking about the animals here).
Another anthropomorphic arthropod, this one is the cockroach girl. She doesn't really have a waist, so I tried to put clothes that would still look cute

An antro spider character that I may or not use.
This one is based on a peacock spider, more precisely the species Maratus speciosus (you can see it here https://t.co/fCq47wsXeE)
Dunno if I would actually use these characters, but is fun to try to make antropomorpic arthropods
big thanks to @DrRossPiper for encouraging me doing toon based sciarts, im actually enjoying it to draw more 😆

Getting a-head of the field: The origin and diversification of the #Arthropod head is a major topic, but #millipede heads have been largely overlooked. Now, a new study using #3D imagery and real time video reveals feeding movements in unrivalled detail: https://t.co/hwGeks2LBl
@miasmatik_art Thank you!! He's part of my race of arthropod aliens!
A little late for #PortfolioDay! I specialise in #NaturalHistoryIllustration, #paleoart and #sciart. I work with watercolour and gouache. My favourite subjects are #paleobotany and #arthropods.
Brady writes us, "The horseshoe crabs keeping the trash out of the sewage drains because it is killing horseshoe crab population[s]." Now THIS is a crime-fighting arthropod we can get behind ⚔️ #netDE #SocialDE #inWilm #WilmLove #WilmingtonDE #ItsTime #WilmArtDE
For #FossilFriday I give you Peronopsis, a 506 million year old agnostinid #arthropod from the #BurgessShale, complete with intricately-preserved branching tubes of its digestive tract!

@Personfaces @arvalis Pops in here at the mention of arthropod feet, CONFIRMED..THEY HAVE..TINY TINY PAWS...
Love the choice for little tucked in headcrab knuckles, it’s a great lil detail and makes me think of them latching into people like razor sharp cat claws
I also draw a lot of fun cartoon aliens. The green ones are Voorsin, a four-armed species with amphibian-like qualities, and the pink ones are Seiff, who have externally arthropod-like features. I like experimenting with alien fashion, I guess?
@eatsmorechicken @TrillinDaGame It's a sea scorpion (Eurypterid). Anomalocaris was a Cambrian beast, closely related to arthropods. (Art Rainer H)
