I always got the impression that these parrot-lizards were goofy and braindead when I first saw reconstructions of them, but I tried to go for a more ornery look for this heavy-browed feller. They’re small, but that doesn’t mean they’ll be pushovers!

What a wierd strange place full of strange constructions that are home to bugs ?
it sure is fascinating and somehow beautiful with all the deep red
A old small art that i polish up to be somehow a alone standing picture if just a tiny scrap on page full of scrap ^^

Spent the better half of thanksgiving retooling the methods I'm using to create my deconstructions. These are a couple outcomes. More to do but excited about the experimenting that rewriting these algorithms opens up.

For those unfamiliar, Arsinoitherium was a horned prehistoric mammal. Contrary to its looks, it was closer related to elephants and sea cows than rhinos. Its fossils have been found in Africa & the Middle East. (Reconstructions by Zdenek Burian, , Rod Ruth, & ???)

More Sillosuchus! Today’s very quick morning warmup sketch. Here are various poses of Sillosuchus. These bipedal, herbivorous crocodile relatives really did their best to look like old reconstructions of dinosaurs. Here shown as munching on plants

Surprising encounter in my with the consisting of 35 new buildings, reconstructions and incorporated spolia. But no city life, just a big tourist attraction.

Tyrannosaurus Rex sketches based on the old-school reconstructions from my childhood dinosaur books - and a bit of inspiration from Don Bluth's The Land Before Time too; one of my favourite films!
