Well I'm not quite sure if there are more specific namea or use of that, but to me, I draw it as a decoration. Or a tool that allows you to place your sword ⚔️ like this.

My favorite tip is with speedlines - I love adding a little bit of these motion "cones/spikes" to add a little extra motion where speedlines fall through. Alternatively the blur tool is great for a quick speed effect!
