Using Necropolis as a reference for comic colours. This is just a test, but I wonder if I'm feature-creeping my comic too much. Maybe it's a good thing though, to make me do coloured work consistently.
Then I used Photoshop to do 90% of the colour work. Selective colour adjustment layers, gradient layers and so on change the look dramatically, so before this point I'm never too fussed with the colours. I applied textures, and noise filters to try and aim for a filmic look.
@noahbradley I love drawing in warm colours. It’s a borderline trope of mine. However I don’t have much that’s totally red 😂 though I often sketch in a mauve colour so I added one of thoses 😂
