Finished Monster (2004) today. Rare to find anime written as competently as that, especially coupled with such stellar direction. As expected of a manga by Naoki Urasawa and an adaptation directed by Masayuki Kojima, but still. Easiest 9/10 I've ever given.

Recently discovered this delightful little gem called Silverwing. It is based on a book series by Kenneth Opal. The animation and storyline is splendid, the characters wonderful and believable. If Don Bluth directed this it would have been twice as dark and hella scary.
