o btw side infromation:
The character is originally from a bit of concept art I did for some space bug armor. It's from a while ago & is just kinda a "fish bowl" helmet.
Named from it's shape vaguely resembling the fish bowl style of helmets & the texture resembling fish scales.

Third OC! Under the spade and corset collection.
It was fun designing her and her clothes that were inspired from goldfish scales (´ ꒳ ` ✿). She is open for adopt so feel free to inquire if interested!

Colored!

Painting my snake taught me to never do scales again.

So I’m doing scales again but SMARTER.

I've tried various experiments at trying to give this dragon scales, lol. Making scales in sculpt mode for baking is out of the question with my specs. Procedural scales have their own drawbacks.

In Black Reliquary, all heroes will have their own unique ripostes. It scales on its own, and its details can be looked up on the hero's guild page.

this is more of a personal thing since its my fav skin in the whole game but, the fact that only base and 750 and below got texture updates like scales on her face, but then Championship has none vs her splash, and her nose basically doesnt exist either

No. 783: Hakamo-o
Scaly Pokémon

It makes noise by clanging its scales together. When the rhythm has reached its peak, Hakamo-o attacks.

I've been thinking a lot about Junah's redesign. I think the facial hair and thicker scales would be for when he's older? Would that make sense? Probably gonna finetune these some more in the future. XD

Eventually I want to do a tutorial on coloring greyscales because I find it really fun + I feel it gives richer colors as opposed to just an overlay layer :D
Here are some Furvilla overlays I did a while back using the same methods!

Human cognitive uniqueness
❌ No single trait explains our superior cognitive performance
✔️ Our cognitive uniqueness arises from feedbacks between abilities over three timescales: developmental, cultural evolutionary, and gene–culture coevolutionary
